Apple has launched an online version of its popular document authoring/editing suite iWorks. The new service is called iWork for iCloud and it’s part of the iCloud online user interface.
For now, the service is beta only and it seems to be seeding to only select users.
You can check if you are among the lucky ones by logging at www.icloud.com. According to the official information from Apple, you need to be using the latest version of either Safari, Chrome or IE to access iWork for iCloud beta. Sorry, no Firefox love here. As I tested, iClould would still let you log on via Firefox, but it won’t let you start a new document.
If you are having issues logging in to iCloud, try going to the Settings menu on your iDevice and look around until you are offered to accept their latest Terms of Service. That solved it for me.
